O most loving and charitable St. Francis Xavier, during these days of typhoon, we humbly and confidently implore your powerful intercession with Jesus. You yourself on your journey on the sea in the Orient, faced not a few times the dangers from these storms; but God in His goodness protected you. Therefore, intercede for us, and grant us peace and calmness. He will still this typhoon as He once stilled the wind and the sea for His disciples who had cried out to Him, “Lord, save us, we perish.”
O good Jesus, we humbly beg You through St. Francis Xavier, who gave glory to Your name on earth, to command this typhoon to cease, and grant us peace and calmness in these our days. Together with Your disciples who once cried out to You, and though St. Francis Xavier, we put our trust on Your kind omnipotence. Amen.
