I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes me even if he dies shall live and
whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. If we die with Christ, we shall also live with
him. If we are faithful to the end, we shall reign with him.
Happy are those who died in the Lord. Let them rest for their labors. For their good
deeds go with them. For those who have faith in You Lord, life does not cease, it merely
changes. And when our earthly dwelling falls to ruin we find an eternal home in heaven.

Lord God, Almighty Father, our faith teaches us that Christ your Son died for us and
rose again, may our beloved dead share in this mystery as they come through him to see the
joys of the resurrection. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
